6 days and counting

Question: What does a person do when all her friends decide to grow up, get married and start having babies?

Answer: Run away and join the Peace Corps!

I assume that if you are reading this then you already know that I have decided to move half way around the world to an island country called Vanuatu (just google map it). I leave in 6 days for LA. That is really fast when a couple of months ago I thought the waiting was going to kill me. I hope I am ready, but I don't think you can ever really be ready for something like the Peace Corps. My hope is to use this blog as a way to let the people who care share a small part of my very large journey.

Hope I stay under the 80 lbs weight limit!
